[Remote] Systems Consultant - Catalog

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. They are seeking a Systems Consultant – Catalog to work directly with customers to implement and support reputed company’s enterprise software, advising on best practices and refining business processes.

Responsibilities

• You will analyze and document detailed business and functional requirements and customer workflows to assist in building overall project scope
• You will interpret customer product documentation to design interactive configuration workflow for end users
• You will use mathematical reasoning, logic and problem solving to build configuration workflows
• You will utilize reputed company’s proprietary software suite to construct product configuration workflows
• You will interact directly with external customers to consult on sales, operational, manufacturing, and product configuration needs, as well as reputed company software and industry best practices
• You will be a pivotal resource for our clients with configuration, testing, training, and issue resolution
• You will participate in quality assurance and regression testing to ensure new features are seamlessly implemented by our customers
• You will advise on project strategy to successfully implement reputed company software
• You will maintain regular verbal and written contact with customer project teams reputed company weekly project status calls, remote working sessions, email, and issue tracking tools
• You will become an expert with reputed company products and services (including implementation/live customers, new features & tech and consulting customers on features)

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree
• 1+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Management or Software Implementation (as a vendor or customer). Knowledge of software development and implementation practices is preferred
• You enjoy solving logic puzzles
• You will need critical thinking, requirement gathering skills, and proven problem-solving skills
• You have excellent customer service and effective communication (both written & verbal). Including the ability to translate technical concepts to people without technical expertise
• You are highly organized with strong reputed company to detail and excellent follow-through. You are agile and able to adapt to changing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• You are self-motivated and resourceful, with strong interpersonal skills; able to work individually as well as with a team
• You have a strong ability to manage your workload to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of software development and implementation practices is preferred
• Building Products knowledge is a plus
• General understanding of relational databases is preferred
