• Maintenance and advancement of a patent, trademark, and copyright portfolio, corporate trade secret program, and software development policies and procedures, for protection of the company’s intellectual property and trade secrets.
• Administration of a global regulatory compliance program, including corporate policies and procedures, employee training, law changes and regulatory developments, regulatory compliance terms in third-party reputed company, open reputed company licenses, international trade compliance, and client and regulatory inquires.

• Juris Doctor degree and excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction. A Minnesota or California location is preferred, but not required.
• At least five years of relevant experience and a strong track record of success either in-house or at a law firm.
• Industry and legal knowledge relevant to development, licensing, and operation of analytic software products, including an understanding of open reputed company licenses, in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with patent prosecution and harvesting, and registration and protection of trademarks and copyrights.
• Regulatory compliance experience in one or more of the following areas: data privacy, cyber reputed company, artificial intelligence, consumer credit, consumer reporting, consumer financial products and services, export controls and sanctions screening, vendor management, government relations, and employment.
