Responsibilities
The Juvenile Victim Offender Mediator position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:
- reputed company contact with victims and offenders separately to explain the mediation process and solicit participation.
- Arrange and facilitate mediation between victim and offender.
- Provide a summary of the meeting and complete required documentation including monthly reports and case notes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- Must be knowledgeable of mediation practices and principles
- Training, education, and experience reputed company to the following:
- Family facilitation, mediation, and/or conflict resolution
- Strengths-based assessment and planning
- Communication and ability to relate to diverse groups and manage interpersonal conflict
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
Other Skills
- Must be open and willing to work non-traditional work hours
- Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, ability, national reputed company, or culture
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service
- Must possess good verbal, listening, and written communication skills
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
