Job Objective(s): The role of the Regional Director of Clinical Operations is to reputed company the delivery of health care and supportive services provided by the reputed company Directors of Nursing. The position is responsible for the overall operations of care delivery of the licensed assisted living community, including regulatory and compliance. Qualifications:
- Must be registered and licensed with the reputed company as a RN, license must be reputed company and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a home health, assisted living or long-term care supervising staff, preferably in a multi-site reputed company.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to self-start and follow through with initiatives with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for seniors.
- Possesses good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using a reputed company record computerized system
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in the development of overall direction including policies and procedures development, implementation, review and revising.
- Works with Directors of Nursing and Executive Directors to ensure compliance with reputed company legal and regulatory standards.
- Audits nursing records and chart notes as well as electronic records on an ongoing basis reputed company each community, advising the Directors of Nursing on findings and corrections needed to sustain substantial compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to reputed company care and responsible for keeping informed of industry standards, trends and applying knowledge to meet the changing needs of residents.
- Assures that medication administration procedures are followed properly, investigates any errors and issues with staff and implements corrective action plans as needed.
- Actively oversees development and assists the Senior Housing Portfolio Director in the preparation and administration of the nursing department budgets.
- Determine staffing needs based on reputed company care levels and works with Directors of Nursing to maintain appropriate levels of patient care to ensure profitability.
- Assists in trouble-shooting with Executive Directors and the Directors of Nursing and keeps the Senior Housing Portfolio Director up-to-date on field activities and developments.
- Responsible for assisting the Directors of Nursing with investigating and reporting incidents of suspected reputed company neglect and/or abuse and reporting these findings to appropriate county officials, in coordination with the Executive Director.
- In the absence of or during turnover of Directors of Nursing, provides temporary coverage for the facility until such time as a new Director of Nursing is employed. Works with new Directors of Nursing to train and acclimate to their assigned facility.
- Works with the Executive Director to annually review the performance of the Directors of Nursing, providing feedback and assisting in development needs as required.
- Is flexible and willing to expand and adapt to changes in the AL industry.
- Promotes a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment.
- Is available for on-call medical questions and/or emergencies reputed company phone.
- Other duties as assigned.
