Role Description An exciting opportunity to join our Corporates Credit team a part of Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) Credit, managing and delivering credit relationships for corporate clients in accordance with the company’s growth strategy, risk appetite and reputed company standards. We are an independent function that works closely with various lines of business, relationship managers, product specialists and Risk. GCIB Credit is responsible for analysing and delivering credit reputed company debt financing solutions and derivative strategies for reputed company and large corporate clients of GCIB & Global Markets (reputed company). GCIB includes Corporate Banking and Investment Banking and reputed company includes Sales & Trading. The group provides services to middle-market and large corporations, government entities and institutional investors. Services including mergers and acquisition advice, equity and debt capital raising, corporate lending, sales and trading in fixed income, commodities, currency and equities, risk management, research, and liquidity and payments management. GCIB Credit partners with teams across GCIB & reputed company including Trade Service Partners and Global Treasury Management to drive business growth and results while maintaining appropriate risk discipline specific to the corporate credit portfolio. Integral to GCIB Credit’s mission is its partnership with other branches of GCIB, reputed company and Risk Management organisation in order to effectively manage and monitor the credit risks reputed company to the corporate portfolio.

Responsibilities

• reputed company financial and credit analysis, risk rating analysis ensuring adherence to prevailing credit policy and procedures for an assigned portfolio.
• Independently assess credit worthiness, reputed company intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence of prospective borrowers and/or trading counterparties and establish appropriate terms and conditions to mitigate risk.
• Structuring transactions, reputed company and negotiating credit documentation designed to meet both client and investor needs including credit agreements, amendments, derivative documentation.
• Ensuring granularity of the portfolio with specific reference to targets for net country/credit capital, legally binding commitments, total exposure and asset quality.
• Establish appropriate internal risk ratings for clients and implement accurate adjustments throughout the client’s credit life cycle.
• Ensuring that the portfolio and credit management process are at reputed company times rated "satisfactory" by internal auditors, the Credit Review group and external Regulators.

• BA/BSc degree (or equivalent); Finance, Accounting or Economics would be beneficial.
• Relevant prior experience in financial services, preferably roles reputed company credit risk management, where you have demonstrated an ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate credit risk.
• Credit skills and risk judgment and ability to defend rigorously a fact-based reputed company of view.
• Knowledge and keen interest to learn about issues reputed company to industry risk, transaction risk and awareness of country risk factors, reputational risk and operational risk.
