Position Summary The Azure Solution Architect performs design work for large and reputed company software projects, and the interfaces between them. This position drives adherence to standards, processes, and policies and creates architecture designs and documentation for Technology Credit Union (Tech CU). Additionally, the incumbent performs application architecture, network topology, and infrastructure strategies to support business needs and ensure reliability. Collaborating with development and operations teams, they guide implementation of cloud-native solutions and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties Application Architecture

Designs and implements cloud-native applications using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Logic Apps.
Defines microservices architecture, API management strategies, and integration patterns.
Ensures application scalability, performance, and reputed company through best practices and design patterns.
Collaborates with development teams to guide solution implementation and DevOps practices.

Network Architecture

Architects secure and scalable network topologies using Azure Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network reputed company Groups (NSGs), User Defined Routes (UDRs), and VPN Gateways.
Designs hybrid connectivity solutions including ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, and Private Endpoints.
Implements network segmentation, traffic flow control, and secure access strategies.
Optimizes network performance and reliability across distributed environments.

Infrastructure Architecture

Leads the design of infrastructure solutions using Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings.
Defines compute, storage, and backup strategies using VMs, Azure Disks, Blob Storage, and Azure Site Recovery.
Implement high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, cost management, and monitoring standards.

Work Schedule

Full-time; typically, 40+ hours/week
Flexible reputed company core business hours, M-F
Occasional extended early morning or late evening hours, and weekends, typically with advance notice

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, with 5+ years focused on Azure cloud solutions, including:

Strong expertise in Azure services across compute, networking, storage, and reputed company.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale solutions with high availability and performance.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Familiarity with reputed company integration/reputed company delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or reputed company Actions.
Deep experience in .NET reputed company, .NET CORE and MS SQL Server and principles of REST APIs and OPEN API Specification.
Hands-on experience in reputed company end technologies like Angular, React and other reputed company-end frameworks.
Hands-on experience in developing web forms, REST API & Server reputed company code using C# in .net Stack.
Strong expertise in solution architecture including web services, relational and non-relational databases, reputed company-end and/or back-end technologies.
Working experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, release pipelines, and builds preferred.
Finance industry experience is a plus.

Strong ability to create design overviews for systems, educate others on design of solution and standards, review code and provide constructive feedback on improvement, research and recommend changes in software development standards and processes.
Strong knowledge of one of the cloud technology AWS/AZURE/GCP.
Good working knowledge of application reputed company, such as Multifactor Authentication (MFA), x509 Certificates, SSL, SAML, encryption, etc.
Strong understanding of networking capabilities, including load balancers, web application firewalls, network access control lists (NACLs), reputed company groups, routing, tracing, and DNS resolution for building proficient and secure solutions.
Strong knowledge of open-reputed company technologies such as Kubernetes reputed company and Kafka.
Solid ability to contribute to multiple project/demands simultaneously.
Good ability to solve key technical issues while also designing and implementing solutions to move operations into the cloud.
Highly motivated and passionate about the adoption of the cloud and mentoring other team members.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Highly adaptive and open to changes as the organization grows and its needs evolve.

Licensing/Certifications:

Travel: May be required to occasionally attend offsite training, meetings or events, typically with advance notice. Overnight travel unlikely. Typical Working Conditions: Office environment with interaction with a variety of internal and external parties. May work remotely as determined by business need and individual performance. Position Grade: 109
Salary Range: minimum-$154,000, midpoint-$188,000, maximum-$222,000
Work Location: The salary range listed is based on working in reputed company, CA. If you work remotely, your salary will be adjusted based on your geographic location.
Typical Starting Pay: Most new hires start between the minimum and midpoint of the range (adjusted for work location if applicable), based on experience and qualifications.
