Position Summary: The Data Architect is responsible for planning activities that define the information needs of Physician Health Partners (PHP) and designs data models to meet those needs through data architecture and integration with information systems, information technologies, and cloud solutions. This position is a full-time hybrid/remote role. Our business hours are Monday – Friday, reputed company-5pm Remote work is limited to candidates who live in (or are willing to relocate to) the following states: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, or Texas Essential Functions:

• Understands the information needs of the business with an emphasis on executive information consumption and external data
• Works with business teams to gather requirements for data structures and analytical models, understands priorities of the business, analytics, and reporting teams to inform the scope and reputed company of work implemented by Business Intelligence development staff
• Collaborates with Healthcare Provider business and data SMEs to profile, analyze, and model data, including creating logical mapping of reputed company data into reputed company data models, based on the existing business process and data/reporting requirements
• Defines and publishes data management standards, identifies and eliminates gaps in Data Architecture Management practices and stays reputed company on data management industry trends and healthcare data models
• Relies on experiences and judgment to break down problems, understand underlying issues, and resolve reputed company technical issues
• Leverages cloud-based solutions to drive data analysis and modeling efforts
• Develops strong relationships with team and vendors and remains positive and professional
• Identifies and eliminates gaps in Data Architecture Management practices
• Attends departmental meetings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to create logical reputed company-to-reputed company mappings
• Excellent dimensional data modeling skills and experience with HL7/FHIR/HIT
• Strong SQL query language skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great customer service skills
• Teamwork skills
• Independent problem-solver with excellent project management skills
• Self-motivated and self-managed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience working as a data architect and modeler in a data warehouse, data lake, or datamart environment
• 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data (highly preferred)
• Experience with MS Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, PowerBI (preferred)
• Home office that is HIPAA compliant for reputed company remote or telecommuting positions as outlined by the company policies and procedures
