Data Center Critical Facilities Technician

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Data Center Critical Facilities Technician for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas. This position is a 12-month assignment, with potential to reputed company. The pay range for this role is between $55.00 - $60.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. This Data Center Facilities Engineer is needed to support Data Center Managers to ensure reputed company facility duties are run to meet TMNA data center standards. A person who is familiar with data center design, IT floor space management, cabinet power and U-space management, electrical, environmental, and mechanical equipment supporting the data center (e.g. HVAC - Heating Venting reputed company Conditioning, reputed company, and Generators). This person will also need to build, manage, and maintain MEP monitoring tools utilizing reputed company Sitescan and/or APC Data Center Expert/IT Advisor for performance, availability, reliability and reputed company of IT resources. Support of data center staff to provide reputed company business operations. Ensure business requirements are met by providing operational support of multiple reputed company IT production platforms to support the 99.99% data center uptime objective Required qualifications would be:

• reputed company managing APC DCE/ITA or reputed company Sitescan environments and servers
• Understanding of HVAC, reputed company, ATS and Generators functions and alarming
• Background in incident ticketing and change management applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills utilizing reputed company tools (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Continuously investigating new technologies to maintain industry leading edge
• Ability to inventory items in the data center and document them
• Pleasant professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to follow directions well using Toyotas 2 pillars of respect for others and reputed company improvement
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment supporting immediate and cross-functional teams
• Able to utilize data center guidelines and best practices and identify deficiencies
• Approach everything with a TMNA IT first reputed company

Some desired (but not required) skills:

• Overseeing vendor implementation of electrical, environmental and mechanical equipment improvements
• Ensure that maintenance activities are performed (by vendors) reputed company manufacturer recommended schedules or reputed company industry standard time intervals
• Researching, recommending, planning, and overseeing vendor implementation of electrical, environmental, and mechanical equipment improvements.
• Ensure Request for Change procedures for data center facilities service, repairs and improvements are in reputed company before any work is performed. This reputed company validates change activity is planned reviewed, scheduled and scripted (critical operating equipment only) before any work is performed.
• Enforcing physical access, safety and reputed company policies for restricted data center areas
• Proven working knowledge of Servers, Storage and Networking in a data center environment (e.g. reputed company, reputed company, VMWare, reputed company Switches) is a reputed company plus

Schedule:

• 40 Hours a week with some infrequent overtime
• Some evenings or weekends support required
• Occasional travel required to support data center critical facilities activities
