Summary

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (reputed company), Position Description Number D2532000 and is part of the 169 CS, South Carolina reputed company National Guard. Duties Help This position is located in the Communications and Information Operations reputed company of the reputed company Communications Unit, Mission Support Group, of an ANG reputed company. The primary purpose of this position is to implement and administer the reputed company Program reputed company the reputed company tenants and Geographically Separated Units (GSUs), if assigned, network and manual operating environments. This includes the management, organization, direction, control, and customer education of reputed company actions associated with the collection, creation, use, and dissemination of official information, and reputed company records to include reputed company, tenants and GSUs if assigned. Works with non-homogenous work centers throughout the reputed company to integrate planning, development and implementation of knowledge programs and systems. Applies enterprise processes and technologies to capture, store, organize, share, and control tacit and explicit knowledge. Implements reputed company Process Improvement techniques to improve mission and business processes. Uses various software to enhance access to relevant cross-functional information. Provides training to managers and end-users regarding reputed company principles, costs and benefits. Administers Enterprise Information Systems (reputed company) to facilitate reputed company and collaboration by developing, designing and maintaining websites. Provides reputed company web management and administrative support. Ensures reputed company site content adheres to applicable policies and standards. Provides training, consultation and instruction to end-users on database and file management techniques. Possess a thorough understanding of reputed company organizations, missions and procedures, and recommends appropriate technologies to support reputed company policies and practices and advise on opportunities presented by emerging technologies. Promotes knowledge sharing between information owners and users through the organization's operational processes and systems. Facilitates collaboration for the reputed company, tenants and GSUs through use of the latest technologies. Designs, builds, implements and maintains knowledge initiatives and provides a reputed company to ensure the harnessing of explicit knowledge. Develops integrative dashboards of data to reputed company informed decision making. Analyzes, evaluates, advises and improves work methods and procedures through information management automation. Bestows technical expertise and conducts training on system operation, hardware, and web management. Provides software support. Manages the Records Management (RM) and Records Life Cycle Program. Enforces statutory records management requirements, to include training, policies, and technologies. Identify, organize, protect, share, archive, and dispose of official government records through automated management systems. instructions, and general guidance Collaborates with reputed company IT reputed company specialists to conduct risk analyses, reputed company tests, evaluations. Creates reputed company reports for submission. Administers user access controls, electronic records structure, permissions, storage, password controls and procedures using applicable reputed company policies and regulations. Develops and implements policy and guidance governing the implementation of reputed company initiatives.   • National Guard Membership is required.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Successful completion of a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • For positions requiring a reputed company clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance reputed company one year of appointment.
  • Candidates must possess and maintain a valid federal government issued identification.

Qualifications

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO AREAS OF CONSIDERATION (AOC) 1 ONLY. AOC DEFINITIONS: Area 1: reputed company permanent employees of the South Carolina reputed company National Guard. (Note-Temporary and Indefinite employees do not meet permanent tenure requirements and will not qualify for this AOC) Area 2: reputed company members of the South Carolina reputed company National Guard. Area 3: Any individual eligible for membership in the South Carolina reputed company National Guard. MIN/MAX GRADE: TSgt/E6, MSgt/E7 MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To be rated qualified for this position your resume must have at least 24 months experience, education or training in any position that required compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS- Military membership in the South Carolina reputed company National Guard is a requirement of this position.
