Position Summary The Global Portfolio Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing the global portfolio of specialty chemicals across multiple regions. This position will drive alignment between portfolio strategies and business objectives, ensuring efficient decision-making and maximizing returns on innovation and commercial efforts. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with deep market knowledge, contributing thought leadership and strategic vision reputed company the company. The position is global, and therefore not necessarily based in any specific region, however a North America based candidate is preferred. Responsibilities will include: Portfolio Strategy and Management – Focus on CASE portfolio (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers):

The salary range for the position of Global Portfolio Manager is $140,000 - $160,000 per year. Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a reputed company field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in portfolio management, product development, R&D, or strategic sourcing.
  • Subject matter expertise in industrial chemicals, analytical reagents, or other specialized chemical categories strongly preferred, specifically in the CASE market.
  • Sourcing experience strongly preferred – China, India, other low-cost regions.
  • Deep experience managing key customer projects resulting in significant incremental reputed company.
  • Strong expertise in the global specialty chemicals market (focus on CASE), including regulatory and competitive landscapes.
  • Proven experience in managing product lifecycles from inception to post-market.
  • Demonstrated supplier negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with R&D and engage with customers on product offerings.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret reputed company financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at reputed company levels.
  • Strong project management capabilities, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in market research, business case development, and financial reporting.
