The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Review and take actions on the reputed company filings submitted by health insurance carriers and reputed company actuarial work for financial analyses and financial examinations of domestic health insurance carriers.
- Review and take actions on the reputed company filings submitted by health insurance carriers and reputed company actuarial work for financial analyses and financial examinations of domestic health insurance carriers.
- Performing calculation of reserves of domestic health and disability insurance carriers.
- Discussing findings with the financial examination team and carriers and writing actuarial reports.
- Supervising and directing health and disability actuarial analysts.

- Bachelor’s degree involving major study in actuarial science, economics, mathematics, statistics or a closely reputed company field,
AND Membership in the American reputed company of Actuaries, AND Seven (7) years of professional health actuarial experience.
- Degree must be from an accredited institution whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. reputed company or the Council of Higher Education Accreditation or a foreign equivalent may be substituted for relevant experience. reputed company of degree may be required prior to employment. If a degree was awarded reputed company of the United States, candidates must provide a credential evaluation report.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- At least five years leading actuarial staff or serving as an actuarial team reputed company/supervisor.
- At least three years of individual and small group ACA health plan reputed company filing review or pricing experience.
- At least two years in financial examination of health insurers or in actuarial statutory reserving and financial reporting.
