Senior Engineer, Data (Remote - US)

The Senior Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale data solutions to support analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise data management. Accountabilities
- Architect, design, and implement datalakes, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines for enterprise-scale analytics.
- Deploy and manage secure, cost-effective AWS (or cloud) environments across multiple availability zones and regions.
- Collaborate with internal departments and business stakeholders to define strategic data architecture and roadmap improvements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize reputed company business programs and data processes.
- Ensure alignment of enterprise data with standards such as FHIR for healthcare applications.
- Evaluate and recommend OSS/COTS solutions to enhance data operations and governance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and support.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or reputed company field.
- 8+ years of experience in software and data engineering with leadership on large-scale projects.
- Strong expertise in big data technologies, cloud architecture (AWS preferred), and cost-conscious cloud design.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, ETL development, S3, reputed company, RDS, Glue, CloudWatch.
- Experience with AWS database tools, cloud deployment, and secure data management.
- Familiarity with healthcare or sensitive data (PHI/PII) and standards such as FHIR.

- Competitive salary: $128,700–$153,400 USD/year.
