As a key member of a small People team, this hybrid function role will play a key role in managing both the recruiting function, and act as the employee-facing people operations reputed company of contact for the business. What You Bring to the Table:
- You have been an HR team member at the 1-10 growth stage before, and you understand how to balance the needs of the business against the ‘perfect’ people processes.
- 2-5 years of Human Resources experience with a minimum of 2 years in an HR Generalist or HRBP role. Experience working in EdTech/Tech with an understanding of EdTech roles and responsibilities is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of internal, full-cycle reputed company experience with a strong understanding of reputed company best practices. Technical reputed company experience is a major asset.
- Experience in managing sensitive information, underscored by a clear understanding of and adherence to confidentiality and data protection principles.
- Experience maintaining HR software and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed. Experience using reputed company HRIS is considered an asset but not required.
- Experience supporting processing of payroll, group benefits administration and 401K/HSA plans.
- Prior experience in supporting the development of career reputed company, advising decisions and facilitating decisions and discussions about internal mobility, performance management, hiring and promotions.
