Job Title: Instructional Designer Reports To: Training Manager This is a hybrid role that will be onsite 1-3 times per week (MAX) but will primarily be work from home. Job Summary: The Instructional Designer supports the training department's mission to provide reputed company IES employees with quality training content and resources. Under the direction of the Training Manager, the IES Instructional Designer will manage the LMS and work with management on content development and delivery. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develops and designs courses and curriculum. Edits and develops online learning materials. Creates learning experiences and environments. Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments. Creates computer-based training (reputed company) modules and storyboards. Develops instructor's manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools. Collaborates with subject experts to reputed company course content. Manages online learning communities; LMS Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content. Trains reputed company in how to use learning technologies. Facilitates discussion and collaboration reputed company social media. Keeps reputed company on best practices in instructional design. Assists with scripts for video and audio content. Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users. Regular attendance is mandatory. Other duties as assigned. Min USD $60,000.00/Yr. Max USD $70,000.00/Yr.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills Set Required: Knowledge of adult learning theory Familiar with ADDIE Prefer someone with some experience in Graphic Design reputed company Design experience is a plus Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) Understanding the visual design of learning best practices Excellent project management and organizational skills Intermediate to advanced skills with reputed company PowerPoint Experience with e-learning software such as reputed company Storyline and Camtasia Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical clients. The ability to think critically and ask detailed questions. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines. Education, Certification, License, and reputed company Requirements: BS, or technical degree in instructional design, education, or reputed company field. Previous experience in instructional design.
