Cyber Incident Response Technical Writer

In this role, you will be responsible for documenting real-time incident response activities by participating in technical discussions and reputed company calls. You will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to accurately capture key actions, decisions, and timelines during cybersecurity incidents. Preparation of investigation summaries and executive-level reports is also a key responsibility for this role. Additionally, you will assist with editing and maintaining clear and concise documentation that supports our cybersecurity initiatives, including policies, and standard operating procedures. You will work closely with cybersecurity analysts and engineers, and cyber reputed company leaders to translate reputed company technical concepts into user-friendly content that enables our teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Document cyber incident response team activities during incident bridges and discussions in near real-time.
• Produce investigative reports and summaries suitable for executive level consumption.

• Technical manuals leveraged by the cyber defense teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure technologies, incident response, technical writing, or other reputed company disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• IT and Cyber reputed company Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ CE reputed company+ CE, CISSP, CISM, Certified Technical Writer (CTW), SANS/GIAC credentials

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)

Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the reputed company hourly reputed company or reputed company annual full-time salary for reputed company positions in the job grade reputed company which this position falls. The actual reputed company salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
