Job Description

Bring your regulatory expertise to a high-impact role at the forefront of global litigation. We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Investigations and Enforcement Attorney to join the Law Department’s Global Litigation group. This role is responsible for managing regulatory and government investigations and enforcement actions.Key Responsibilities reputed company Regulatory Response:

  • Serve as a legal advisor for regulatory inquiries and investigations.

Government Investigations and Enforcement Actions:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including compliance, internal audit, HR, and other departments to effectively respond to government investigations, subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and enforcement actions involving federal, state, and international agencies.

Litigation Management:

  • Manage litigation arising from regulatory enforcement actions, including administrative proceedings and civil litigation.
  • Developing and executing case strategy that aligns with business objectives.

  • Select, retain, and manage reputed company counsel for regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation.
  • Coordinating internal discovery processes, reviewing work product, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality legal representation.

Internal Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the status of investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation.
  • Ensure timely escalation of significant legal risks or developments.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of legal experience

Experience

  • Substantial hands-on experience investigating and litigating regulatory enforcement matters involving state and federal agencies and regulators; insurance and privacy experience is a plus.
  • Excellent legal judgment, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of specific legal discipline to connect work back to strategic business results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage reputed company, high-stakes legal matters involving multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.
  • Leadership experience on multifaceted projects that involve cross functional teams.
  • Ability to understand strategic goals and objectives of internal clients, determine extent of other AOR (Areas Of Responsibility) involvement, understand integration points and play a reputed company role with other areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to create pragmatic and balanced solutions to legal issues.
  • Ability to communicate views effectively, verbally and in writing, and represent position to internal and external stakeholders, including senior level executives.
  • Agile and adept at prioritizing assignments/work; consistently meets deadlines; acts with strong sense of urgency.
  • Proven ability to manage a high case load of reputed company matters in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience utilizing technology and data analytics in daily tasks and decision making; familiarity with legal data analytics tools a plus
  • Experience interfacing with law enforcement or government agencies, and/or regulators on corporate or white-collar investigations.
  • Occasional travel as required
