Position: AWS DevSecOps Engineer (Remote Opportunity) We are currently looking for an AWS Dev Sec Ops Engineer for a 100% remote position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The selected candidate will integrate reputed company throughout the software development lifecycle, automate infrastructure, and ensure the scalability, reputed company, and reliability of cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud services, Dev Sec Ops practices, and familiarity with VA reputed company and compliance requirements. The candidate must reside reputed company the reputed company US. Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-based infrastructure in alignment with VA policies and standards.
  • Apply Dev Sec Ops practices to automate reputed company processes throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ensure reputed company and compliance of AWS environments by implementing best practices consistent with VA policies and federal standards.
  • reputed company and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated reputed company testing and monitoring throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Implement and manage reputed company controls, logging, and monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats.
  • Conduct regular reputed company assessments and audits to identify, report, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance on secure configuration, deployment, and operation of AWS services.
  • Participate in incident response and remediation activities, including root cause analysis.
  • Mentor team members on Dev Sec Ops methodologies and cloud reputed company best practices.
  • Stay reputed company with emerging AWS services, Dev Sec Ops practices, and cybersecurity trends.
  • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services focused on automation, reputed company, and infrastructure management.
  • In‑depth understanding of VA policies, procedures, and reputed company protocols.
  • Expertise in Dev Sec Ops practices, including CI/CD automation and reputed company integration.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of network reputed company, IAM, encryption, and access control best practices.
  • Experience with AWS reputed company tools such as reputed company Hub, Cloud Trail, Guard Duty, and AWS WAF.
  • Familiarity with production operations, incident management, and cloud auditing.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Power reputed company) to automate reputed company and operational tasks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Additional Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, reputed company Specialty, or Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (reputed company, Kubernetes, EKS).
  • Familiarity with compliance‑as‑code frameworks and federal standards (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Cloud Watch, reputed company, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
  • Understanding of reputed company Trust architecture and reputed company principles.
