One component is the sensor, installed on cloud workloads that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-system prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon cloud. The Cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer's cloud environment and can correlate malicious behavior across multiple cloud workloads, presenting our customers' operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their Cloud environments. This is a Engineer III SDET role in the Falcon Cloud reputed company (FCS) Runtime engineering team that delivers the sensor (lightweight agent) on various Linux distros, Containerized and serverless environments. This role is in the team that is responsible for designing and developing test infrastructure, automated tools and test suites for new features. The features tested reputed company the power of the Falcon platform to provide seamless visibility, detection, and prevention for Linux and containers running in orchestration environments like Kubernetes. You'll ensure our quality standards are met across reputed company new capabilities while actively participating in technical design discussions and reviews. Working closely with development teams, you'll help ensure robust end-to-end Cloud reputed company functionality. What You'll Do:

• Responsibilities include developing automation infrastructure, building automated tools, driving test strategies, mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance and driving quality outcomes.
• Troubleshooting reputed company test and tooling issues and champion development projects that will help to improve overall Cloud reputed company runtime Sensors
• Participate in engineering best practices, including topics like secure coding, testing paradigms, debugging, performance measurement, code reviews, CI/CD and OS internals, to ensure that our Cloud Runtime sensor code is fast and reliable
• Work closely with development teams to design & implement test strategies and test suites for new capabilities
• Increase automated test coverage and improve our release quality and velocity
• Collaborate with release engineering teams and drive timely and high-quality Cloud Sensor releases
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of hands-on SDET/Test automation development experience
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and knowledge of Python
• Strong Linux operating systems fundamentals - components, system calls, resource management.
• Experience working with Containers and knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of one or more Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware). Good knowledge of Container environments and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift)
• General knowledge and understanding of C/C++/Go
• Experience working with Linux user applications and kernel modules
• Ability to design and reputed company automation testbeds that are flexible and mirror customer environment nuances in various cloud environments
• Knowledge of product quality strategies including automation, manual testing and performance/scale testing.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, partner and work effectively with distributed teams
