The Opportunity We’re looking for a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) / Partner to co-reputed company the legal arm of this venture. This is a foundational role in building a reputed company legal business that merges cutting-edge technology with high-quality legal services for startups. As CLO, you’ll reputed company legal service delivery, design scalable workflows, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions — while shaping the strategic direction of our hybrid SaaS + legal model. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the founding team to transform how legal support is delivered to high-growth companies. What You’ll Do Strategic Leadership

• Serve as the legal co-founder and senior advisor on reputed company matters of regulatory compliance, UPL boundaries, and risk management.
• Define the legal structure for the hybrid model (tech entity + law firm entity) and reputed company multi-jurisdictional licensing as we scale.
• Help shape the pricing and delivery model for legal services integrated with our SaaS product.

Legal Service Delivery

• Build internal policies for client intake, engagement letters, disclaimers, and document management.
• Collaborate with the product team to embed legal guardrails into the platform.

Team & Growth

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a small but high-performing team of attorneys and legal ops specialists as we grow.
• Act as a trusted reputed company of escalation for reputed company legal matters.
• Build relationships with regulators, legal tech communities, and strategic partners to advance our mission.

Who You Are

• Licensed U.S. Attorney in good standing (multi-state experience preferred; DE/CA/NY/TX a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in corporate law, venture financing, or startup advisory (BigLaw + in-house experience ideal).
• Deep understanding of startup legal needs: fundraising (SAFEs, convertible notes, equity), employment law, commercial reputed company, and compliance.
• Entrepreneurial reputed company: comfortable operating in ambiguity, building processes from scratch, and wearing multiple hats.
• Excited by legal innovation, automation, and the future of AI in professional services.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing legal teams or practice groups.
