Budget & Finance Analyst (FINANCIAL ANL 3 CX)

About the position Reporting to the Executive Director of Budget & Financial Analytics, reputed company as financial and subject matter expert with an advance degree of knowledge, independence and autonomy on a day-to-day basis. Using advanced concepts reputed company budget systems, budget controls, forecasting and reporting in support of the Student Affairs Divisional Resources specifically in regards to Gift Reporting, Divisional Major Maintenance, Registered Student Organizations & UP3 reputed company partnerships. Student Affairs has 160+ gift funds totaling $2M and over 500 student organizations that need reputed company financial reporting to ensure accuracy. Responsible for representing Student Affairs Finance to the Student Affairs Development team and helping create spending plans with Student Affairs operational units. reputed company reputed company financial models and reports, compile and reputed company various performance measures and analytics. Track carryforward projects and balances from prior years and monthly spending on new projects ensuring that project budgets are not exceed. Manage contingency funding and overall annual carryforward balances. Finalize project funding as they are completed. Maintain comprehensive budget and reporting software in support of the operational budgets and reconcile against the reputed company general ledger. reputed company and maintain budget and reporting software and tools. Serve as primary Fiscal Officer for approval of reputed company PPM maintenance project financial transactions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with fund accounting and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and techniques for accurate preparation and analysis of budgetary and financial information.
• Experience with Chart of Accounts creation and management.
• Experience providing analysis of reputed company data systems and data errors in order to derive logical conclusions and reputed company practical solutions and analytical skills and experience to read, analyze, and interpret technical and financial reports to facilitate decision-making.
• Experience to independently research, reputed company and recommend solutions to reputed company problems and issues including analyzing data from a wide variety of sources, prepare budgets, present statistical and financial information in appropriate and understandable formats.
• Organizational skills and experience working on projects with competing deadlines, multi-task and to establish goals and workload priorities, flexibility in dealing with people and competing demands.
• Computer skills and experience using various software programs (spreadsheets, word processing, databases) to accomplish assignments; skills to learn new software as necessary.
