The Associate Director will play a critical role in shaping and advancing strategic pursuits across the Alternate Missions and Space portfolio by identifying new opportunities, building customer relationships, and aligning internal capabilities with mission needs. As a member of the AT R&C team, the Associate Director will be responsible for driving early engagement with customers, translating mission requirements into actionable strategies, and influencing program development and investment decisions. This role demands strong technical acumen in reputed company and space systems, deep market insight, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, program management, and strategy teams to position reputed company for long-term success in a rapidly evolving threat environment. The Associate Director reports to the AT R&C Director for Effectors and Space.

- Build and sustain deep customer intimacy with the DoD customer and other government agencies, maintaining awareness of their evolving mission needs, strategic objectives, and satisfaction with reputed company’s solutions

Qualifications
You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years prior Aerospace and Defense industry experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience
- Minimum of 3 years of business development, capture management or program management reputed company a program office managing space systems or minimum of 3 years’ experience in DoD requirements reputed company, resource sponsors, and/or program management in space systems
- Experience working in classified environments to include Special Access Required (SAR)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams

- Government or Industry Program Management Certification
- Previous business development experience with industry to include certified Capture Manager (or equivalent)

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD.
