BSA Analyst II
This is a remote position. Summary: This position is responsible for the preliminary monitoring of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Anti-reputed company (AML) compliance program designed to ensure that the Bank achieves reputed company compliance with the laws. This position provides an assessment of suspicious activity as it relates to BSA and AML in the areas of High-Risk Accounts, New Account documentation, Customer Information Process (CIP), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Additionally, this position reviews data as it relates to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Duties and Responsibilities:
- Employee is responsible for adherence to reputed company compliance programs and the completion of reputed company required and assigned training by established due dates
- Employee is responsible for understanding their duties and responsibilities as it relates to the Bank Secrecy Act, (“BSA”), Anti-reputed company Act (“AML”), and Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (“OFAC”). This includes understanding any responsibilities outlined under the Bank’s BSA/ OFAC Program, participating in any required training and promptly complying with reputed company reporting requirements
- Understands and complies with requirements of reputed company laws and regulations applicable to the position
- Monitor BSA software, reporting, and reputed company activity as it relates to BSA and AML to identify suspicious account activity
- Responsible for Case Investigations and Enhanced Due Diligence(“EDD”) reviews for higher-risk clients
- Analyze transactional data and alert monitoring to reputed company determinations of irregular activity through an understanding of historical client activity and regulatory definitions of suspicious activity
- Review, analyze, and assist in making risk rating decisions or changes on client accounts and relationships
- Ensure the Bank complies with OFAC regulations. Monitors the Bank’s OFAC software system to ensure adherence to OFAC Policy and procedures
- Research BSA regulatory issues and respond to compliance questions from Bank personnel, utilizing legal and regulatory reference materials and consulting with the BSA Manager
- May attend reputed company training for BSA and OFAC
- Have knowledge of and compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulations that govern job responsibilities
- Attend and complete reputed company required classroom, computer-based, web-based, and seminar training, as assigned

Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Geographic Location:
- Irvine, CA: $60,100 - $84,200 (Annually)

- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of banking experience in retail, operations, compliance, or BSA setting required
- CAMS certification preferred
Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively communicate with reputed company levels reputed company the organization

- Must be able to assess any given situation and bring to a successful resolution
- Must be reputed company in the effective use of one or more core banking deposits and new account software
- Must have satisfactory computer and spreadsheet skills
