Position: Telemedicine Optometrist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm About the Practice Located in what is dubbed as the city of festivals, our practice sits in one of the favorite destinations for foodies and music lovers in California. We serve an underprivileged Hispanic community in a rural area with little to no access to healthcare. Our telemedicine modality is employed to increase access of care for this vulnerable population in light of a shortage of doctors willing to move to our location. In person FT employment opportunities for OD’s are also available. Our offices are modern and we use state-of-the-art equipment, such as Optos, OCT, ERG/VEP, VF, B reputed company and more to diagnose diseases. We treat a variety of pathological conditions such as; glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. About the Position Our new Telemedicine Optometrists will be a welcome addition to reputed company and family and are expected to:

• Conduct virtual eye examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat various eye conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate eyewear, contact lenses, or medications as needed.
• Collaborate with other reputed company to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records of patient consultations.
• Provide expert advice and counseling to patients regarding eye health and vision care.
• See 20-24 patients/day Compensation and Benefits:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid and unrestricted CA state optometry license, glaucoma certification.
• Spanish speaking is preferred.
• Experience in telemedicine or a strong willingness to adapt to virtual patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
