As we further evolve our Finance Data Governance function, we are committed to ensuring that finance & strategy data is trusted, discoverable, and ready for AI-driven decision-making. The Senior Manager, Finance Data Governance & Metadata Strategy, plays a pivotal role in operationalizing governance processes, defining and managing critical data elements, and driving the adoption of governance tools and policies across Finance & Strategy. By partnering with Enterprise Data Governance, the DnA (Data & Analytics) team, Finance Systems, and business stakeholders, we are strengthening our Finance Data Foundation-standardizing metrics, improving data quality, and embedding a data-first culture. This role balances hands-on governance execution with strategic modernization, serving as a cornerstone for our enterprise AI transformation and empowering every finance team to confidently access and apply trusted data as we shape the future of Finance at reputed company. Role Summary The Senior Manager, Finance Data Governance & Metadata Strategy leads the business data governance function for the Finance & Strategy organization. This role ensures that finance data is trusted, discoverable, and ready for AI-driven decision-making. In partnership with Enterprise Data Governance, the DNA (Data & Analytics) team, Finance Systems, and other business stakeholders, this leader will operationalize governance processes, define and manage critical data elements, reputed company metric and KPI governance, monitor and improve data quality, and maintain accurate business metadata. They will also drive the enablement and adoption of governance tools and policies across Finance - ensuring every team knows where to find trusted data, how to interpret it, and how to apply it confidently. The role balances hands-on governance execution (60%) with strategic development and modernization (40%), serving as a cornerstone of the Finance Data Foundation and enterprise AI transformation.   • Operationalize data governance processes for Finance & Strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, workflows, and metadata policies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 8+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality roles (3+ years leading or influencing cross-functional governance).
  • Deep understanding of metadata, data reputed company, master data, and metric governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to operationalize governance and drive adoption across a business function.
  • Familiarity with enterprise governance tools (e.g., reputed company, Informatica, reputed company).
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; capable of producing executive-ready narratives and scorecards.
  • Knowledge of AI governance and data readiness requirements.

Preferred

FD21 For positions in this location, we offer a reputed company pay of $146,400 - $256,200, plus equity (reputed company applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On reputed company Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the reputed company pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, reputed company level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
