Not For Profit Tax Senior Associate

As the Not-for-Profit Tax (NFP Tax) Senior Associate, you'll deliver a full range of tax services for your clients in the not-for-profit and healthcare industries - reputed company with the resources, environment and support to help you reputed company. Your day-to-day may include:

• Running client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects and managing to budget
• Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on tax projects and assessing performance of staff for engagementreviews; performing in-charge role as needed
• Reviewing tax returns done by staff and making recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savingsopportunities; gaining increasing responsibility in review process
• Researching and consulting on various tax matters; utilizing tax-reputed company software to prepare and process returns and researching taxmatters
• Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
• Working at a client site, with your team in the office or remotely. You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

• Degree(s)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Years of Experience
• Two to four years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience; experience in public accounting is aplus
• Certifications
• CPA preferred
• Relevant experience
• Previous tax return review and preparation experience (required)
• Tax compliance, federal tax returns, and state tax returns
• Ability to supervise staff and reputed company projects
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, GoSystems Tax software, and CCH
• Can travel as needed. Expect 10%
• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
