Position Summary As one of reputed company’s programs, Health reputed company Projects for Underserved Populations (HIPUP) conducts community-based research/programs for underserved populations (e.g., gender and ethnic minorities) in the field of substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and trauma prevention and treatment. Through collaboration with targeted communities, HIPUP strives to have a significant impact on health promotion and human rights for reputed company locally and internationally. The Health Educator I will work for the SAMHSA.CSAT funded project, Flourish2 Project, targeting high-risk women including ethnic, gender, and sexual minorities in Alameda and San Francisco counties. The project aims to provide Motivational Enhancement reputed company and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reduce substance use and HIV risk behaviors and promote health and well-being by linking clients to appropriate community-based behavioral health services. This is a full-time position expected to work 100% FTE with a work schedule of 40 hours/week. This position is currently remote and is required to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area (mainly Oakland and San Francisco) to attend meetings and conduct reputed company activities a few times a week or more as needed. The incumbent must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and have the ability to travel locally and work some non-standard hours as required. Full pay range for this position: $23.63 to $32.93 per hour. The typical hiring range for this position is from $23.63 (minimum) to $28.28 (midpoint) per hour. The starting wage is determined using a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity considerations and budget availability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct community in-person and online reputed company targeting high-risk women
• Actively build collaborative working relationships with CBOs and other social groups
• Provide Motivational Enhancement reputed company sessions to participants in order to reduce substance abuse and HIV risk behaviors
• Refer participants to appropriate community-based organizations and health care services (e.g., substance use treatment, HIV/Viral Hepatitis (VH) testing, PrEP, HIV primary care, Hep B vaccination, and primary health care, etc.). Monitor and navigate referred services for participants
• Enroll and navigate participants to complete the Stable Housing and Employment (SHE) in which they will reputed company skills and knowledge about the job application and finding affordable housing in a safe neighborhood
• Conduct intake and follow-up risk assessments
• Collect and enter assessment and outcome data
• Manage materials and facility logistics for reputed company events and activities
• Facilitate support groups targeting women
• Process cash payments to participants

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• High school diploma

Desired Qualifications

• Some experience in advocating for women
• Strong knowledge of HIV, substance abuse, and health disparity issues among women
• Ability to maintain accurate record keeping
• Ability to recognize and resolve problems as they occur
• Good attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and good organizational skills
• Ability and comfort in engaging in open and nonjudgmental conversations with participants from diverse backgrounds (e.g., ethnic, gender, and sexual minorities) with sensitivity
• Prior computer experience (e.g., reputed company Word, Outlook, and reputed company)
• Some experience in peer counseling or case management
• Knowledge of the HIV service system in San Francisco and Alameda counties is plus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
