Job Summary We are seeking an reputed company RN Patient Flow Coordinator to join reputed company on the night shift at our Elmwood location. As a key member of our patient flow team, you will be responsible for overseeing and making decisions reputed company to patient flow, including directing and coordinating bed control, admissions, and transfers reputed company the hospital. You will also work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provides clinical reputed company and critical thinking through the daily patient flow and bed placement decisions. Supports the hospital's administration, management, and nursing staff in achieving organizational goals set to provide patient-centered care while maintaining the organization's strategic plan. Facilitates professional relationships between leadership, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to provide patient room assignments based on patient diagnosis, acuity, and patient flow. Evaluates and facilitates staffing needs in collaboration with the nursing units, utilizing resources for reputed company surge and patient flow escalation plans. Completes accurate data collection, monitoring, and evaluation. Completes rounds and supervises day-to-day operations of the nursing units. Participates in semiannual telemedicine, business development, and hospital reputed company activities. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style. Performs other reputed company duties as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need: An Associate's degree in nursing, science, or a reputed company field (Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred). At least 3 years of clinical experience (supervisory experience or transfer/call center experience preferred). Registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the reputed company (ACLS and PALS certifications preferred).
