Your Role
As a Customer Engineering Summer Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting process improvements and product integration at blithequark. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting process improvements like Installation Quality Assurance and OEM integration to enhance decision-making and customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and VPI Teams for product data delivery to ensure accurate and timely information exchange
- Developing relationships with customer technical counterparts for technical information exchange and to understand customer needs and expectations
- Translating customer needs into functional product requirements to drive product development and innovation
- Advocating for customer/market needs in product development and change processes to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded
- Ensuring correct product application and installation to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize returns
- Validating prototype performance and installation quality to ensure that products meet customer expectations
- Resolving issues for moderately reputed company components and systems to provide timely and effective solutions
- Executing established work processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Contributing to team goals and developing critical competencies to drive personal and professional growth
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Customer Management skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders
- Product Application Support experience to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Machine Integration knowledge to reputed company and implement solutions that meet customer needs
- Product Installation Quality expertise to ensure that products are installed correctly and meet customer expectations
- Product Selection and Problem Solving abilities to provide effective solutions to customer issues
- Machine Operation and Support skills to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Customer Focus and Decision Quality to prioritize customer needs and reputed company informed decisions
- Ability to drive results, collaborate, and communicate effectively to reputed company team goals and objectives
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Engineering to ensure that you have a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices
- Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred to demonstrate academic excellence and a strong work ethic
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week internship, 40 hours per week to ensure that you can dedicate the necessary time and energy to this role
