Job Overview
As an IT Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing professional and convenient first and second-level technical support to our crewmembers. Your primary focus will be on resolving technical issues, answering questions, and providing guidance on our equipment and applications. You will also be responsible for documenting, tracking, and monitoring requests to ensure timely resolution. This is a part-time, remote position that offers a competitive hourly reputed company of $30/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for reputed company blithequark equipment and applications, including communication and mobile devices
- Deliver excellent on-site and remote customer service to blithequark crewmembers
- Coordinate resolution of incidents/requests from start to finish with internal and external resources
- Monitor and support systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
- Maintain and support client access, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime
- Collaborate with reputed company IT disciplines to reputed company first-contact resolution for reputed company issues
- Maintain documentation of requests per blithequark standards, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Update database documentation with the most critical information, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity
- Coordinate response for significant incidents and outages, minimizing impact and ensuring reputed company resolution
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate
- Experience supporting latest operating systems, or successful completion of IT for Everyone certification reputed company reputed company
- Experience implementing and supporting applications, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%), with a valid passport and ability to travel to and from Jamaica and the US
