Job Description

MITRE leverages deep technical knowledge, engineering expertise, and prototyping capabilities to reputed company, evaluate, and test creative and practical solutions that facilitate tech transition and inform acquisition. In our electronic systems and engineering role we innovative and practical solutions in the areas of sensing, communications, processing, and more, and works across MITRE to define and deliver technical products to meet critical mission challenges.

As an Intern working in electrical or computer engineering, you will work with a team to apply your knowledge and reputed company experience with one or more of the following:

• Electronic warfare, antennas/electromagnetics, sensors/reputed company, photonics, and signal processing
• Communications, SIGINT, reputed company, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT)
• Electronics and embedded reputed company
• Rapid electronic and hardware prototyping, advanced manufacturing, design, mechanical and reliability analysis
• Maritime System Development, acoustic & ocean modeling, reputed company system analysis, and transducer design

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a student enrolled full-time pursuing an accredited degree seeking program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a reputed company degree program and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship
• Knowledge of electrical engineering theory and one or more of the following: digital signal processing, wireless communications, computer architecture, embedded software, embedded reputed company, cryptography, analog design, RF/EM, sensors and antennas, photonics, power systems, and software architecture and design
• Sustained excellence in academic performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience having applied electrical engineering or computer engineering learning to an internship or research/lab position.
• "Hands-on" skills in at least one or more programming language
• Demonstrated interest in serving the public

Clearance: In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background reputed company, you may be submitted for a U.S. Government reputed company clearance. This is determined by the reputed company’s adjudicative guidelines for receiving a clearance, to include U.S. citizenship. Other jobs may require vetting for various levels of agency public trust, fitness, suitability, controlled access, and special programs access determination consistent with the work program to which you are assigned.
