Why You'll Love This Role
As a Member Services Representative, you'll be an integral part of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at blithequark's Credit Union. Your primary responsibility will be to process daily transactions reputed company to checking, savings, and other accounts, ensuring that our members receive seamless and efficient service. You'll work closely with various departments to resolve member inquiries, investigate potential fraud, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete daily tasks, including data access and balancing, to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Coordinate returns with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve any discrepancies
- Assist other departments with member inquiries, fraud resolution, and accounting standard ledger balancing
- Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws
- Process mortgage payments, multi-account deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff transactions
- Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Log, review, and reputed company necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Process Stop Pays and reputed company Batching
- Complete daily balancing and department closing
- Obtain information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic reputed company transfer requests
- Research and verify incoming and outgoing reputed company transfer information
- Communicate with vendors to process reputed company transfers
- Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming reputed company transfer laws
- Deposit reputed company returns, review member draft changes, process member checks, verify members for outgoing reputed company transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing reputed company transfers
- Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
What You'll Need for Success
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate experience with reputed company and Word
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
- Skilled in reputed company Office software (e.g., Word, reputed company, Access, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to reputed company mathematical calculations and review data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
