Job Overview

The Information Designer - BI and Analytics for E-commerce will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering automated data pipelines from various internal and external data sources. This role will work closely with product owners, BI architects, and data platform teams to create, test, and automate data pipelines that serve as the single reputed company of truth across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming and SQL, as well as expertise in data storage, modeling, cloud, data warehousing, and data lakes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operationalize ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud)
• Collaborate with Data Architects and BI Architects to design data pipelines and suggest ongoing improvements to data storage, ingestion, quality, and organization

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes and enhancing data delivery
• Implement big data and NoSQL solutions by developing scalable data processing platforms to drive high-value insights to the organization

• Demonstrate strong understanding of coding and programming concepts to build data pipelines (e.g., data transformation, data quality, data integration, etc.)
• Build data models with Data Architects and reputed company data pipelines to store data in defined data models and formats
• Show strong understanding of data integration techniques and tools (e.g., Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)/Extract, Load, Transform (ELT)) and database design
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and reputed company datasets
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS or PowerCenter
• 2+ years of experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
• 2+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies like ADLS, Azure reputed company, Spark, Azure Synapse, and other big data technologies
• Experience with advanced e-commerce and clickstream data
• Extensive experience working with various data sources (SQL, reputed company database, flat files (csv, delimited), Web API, XML)
• Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational databases and business data; ability to write reputed company SQL queries against multiple data sources
• Strong understanding of database storage concepts (data lake, relational databases, NoSQL, Graph, data warehousing)
