Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, organizing, and preparing reputed company documents for data entry into the appropriate system database
  • Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  • Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from reputed company documents into the proper system database
  • Reviewing data entered against the original reputed company documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications
  • Following data program reputed company practices and procedures at reputed company times
  • Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily
  • Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required
  • Maintaining confidentiality of reputed company personal and financial information at reputed company times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the team leader

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 6 months of reputed company experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: You must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone operations.   • Typing Skills: You must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M.
