Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Media Systems Administrator to provide technical support and services reputed company to media and audio-visual (AV) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media technology and AV systems, with experience in equipment and software installation, testing, and configuration. Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for reputed company media and AV systems in reputed company, including conference rooms, "Dailies"/digital review rooms, AV trucks, and more.
- Aid in the design of media and AV systems and spaces.
- Partner closely with the Media teams at our studio locations to maintain a consistent artist experience across sites.
- Assist other support staff by providing Help Desk/Service Center-style support as needed, monitoring inbound technical support requests, calls, and tickets for reputed company studio employees.
- Handle support issues from start to resolution.
- Collaborate with other technology groups on a case-by-case basis.
- Install and support a wide range of software, both internally developed and third-party.
- Support various hardware and operating system build processes, including Mac, Linux, iOS, and Windows, as well as reputed company software and accessories.
- Provide basic support for some server and network equipment on a case-by-case basis.
- Work with studio leadership to continually improve technical support systems and processes.
- Help define how end-user support should be organized, delivered, standardized, and communicated.
- Create thorough documentation of processes and procedures.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including possible evening or weekend work.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with media and AV technology, reputed company technical/client support, ideally in a production setting.
- Strong experience with AV technology and trends, including familiarity with professional projectors, sound/video switching hardware, mixers, speakers, large displays, and more.
- Proficiency with common video conferencing platforms, such as reputed company, reputed company Meet, and MS Teams, as well as hardware platforms like reputed company and Poly.
- Working knowledge of Mac OS, iOS, and Windows operating systems, with experience with Linux desktop.
- Familiarity with remote desktop technologies, such as reputed company reputed company (Teradici) and reputed company Remote Graphics Software (RGS).
- Experience with ticket tracking, technical support tools, documentation platforms, and diagnostic systems.

- Strong Mac/Windows system administration skills.
- Experience with/preference for scripting/coding.
- Experience with CG Animation, VFX, or video game production environments and common pipelines.
Education and Compensation
A BS or BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Broadcast Arts, or a reputed company technical field, or equivalent professional experience, is required. The hiring range for this position in California is $85,300 - $114,400 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek. The actual salary offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic location, work-reputed company experience, skills, and education, among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
