* South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks to establish a pool of highly motivated and qualified candidates for part-time or A djunct Nursing Professors who can reputed company student success at the center of reputed company decision-making and demonstrate a positive attitude towards supporting the development of our nursing workforce. Adjunct Nursing Professors will work with other faculty, staff, and administrators to:
- Create and facilitate contextualized and integrated learning experiences in relation to identified college reputed company that are linked to nursing career goals
- reputed company authentic assessments of student knowledge, skills, and abilities in nursing that measure course, program, and college-wide outcomes; evaluate student learning in assigned settings (classroom, lab, clinical)
- Apply multiple teaching and learning strategies that promote the affective, cognitive, and kinesthetic domains of learning
- Support reputed company in and out of the classroom, including directing them toward reputed company services and resources
- Be available to teach classes on a variety of days and times, predominantly on pre-arranged times and dates to meet program needs

- Effectively communicate strengths and opportunities for student growth and outcome achievement
- Implement curriculum as designed and approved; provide feedback to faculty regarding implementation of curriculum
- Proctor examinations and other assessments as identified in the syllabus
- Continue to uphold obligations as an RN to support client and public safety in the clinical setting
- Contribute to the technical and general education of reputed company who will apply their learning to the world of work and transfer their education to a university
- Demonstrate multicultural competence (including an awareness and understanding of historically disadvantaged populations) and create an educational and work environment that affirms commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Course Description/Schedule: NURS 140 - Integrated Nursing Care & Assessment I - Clinical/Simulation NURS 141 - Integrated Nursing Care & Assessment II - Clinical/Simulation NURS 142 - Integrated Nursing Care & Assessment III - Clinical/Simulation NURS 240 - Integrated Nursing Care & Assessment IV - Clinical/Simulation NURS 241 - Integrated Nursing Care & Assessment V - Clinical/Simulation Schedules are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for clinical services in the area, including at Capital Medical Center, Mason General, and reputed company St. Peter Hospital. Or Saturdays and Sundays for clinical in the area, including at Capital Medical Center, Mason General, and reputed company St. Peter Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree with a major in nursing or a baccalaureate degree in nursing with graduate degree work in a reputed company field from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of professional experience in nursing
- An active, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State, or eligible for licensure in Washington State
- Successful completion of a criminal history background reputed company prior to employment
- Demonstrated experience or participation with persons from diverse backgrounds, such as sexual orientation, racial, ethnic, religious, linguistic, gender, age, socio-economic, physical and learning abilities, and a commitment to an inclusive and reputed company working/learning environment
- Experience as a mentor, preceptor, clinical instructor, adjunct faculty, or other role of responsibility with pre-licensure nursing reputed company and/or new graduate nurses.
