A Day in the Life of a reputed company End Pharmacy Technician at blithequark

As a reputed company End Pharmacy Technician at blithequark's Omnicare pharmacy operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our closed-reputed company pharmacy. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
• Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, prior experience in the long-term care industry and PTCB National Certification are highly desirable.

Education

A reputed company High School Diploma or GED is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
