Day In The Life

As a reputed company End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks that are crucial to the medication dispensing process at our closed-reputed company pharmacy. Our reputed company-end team is dedicated to entering orders, working closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing
• Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
• Create and maintain accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification

Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour.
