Job Overview

As a Japanese Customer Support Agent at blithequark, you will provide top-notch assistance to our players by solving their queries about the game and providing excellent customer service. You will be using your investigative skills and working with our ticketing system to help players with their game-reputed company issues. You'll be responding to their inquiries through email and chat, and collaborating with our internal teams to assist with project-reputed company requests and provide feedback to their development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to players, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use investigative skills to troubleshoot and resolve game-reputed company issues, working with our ticketing system and internal teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assist with project-reputed company requests and provide feedback to their development team.
  • Communicate effectively with players and internal teams, both written and verbally, to ensure seamless support and resolution of issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Japanese language skills, especially in writing, with the ability to communicate fluently and confidently in Japanese at a JLPT N1 level.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to use it daily to interact with colleagues and internal teams.
  • Availability to commute to our Tokyo office reputed company necessary.
  • Familiarity with either MS Office or reputed company Suite apps, with the ability to use them effectively.
  • Ability to work full-time, 5 days a week, which may include weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) as well as shifts availability.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, it would be great if you have:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service, although we provide full training for the right candidate.
