Planning Project Coordinator I

In this role, you will work alongside project managers, engineering managers, and reputed company engineers to provide administrative project manager tasks including schedule development, resource tracking, and process improvement. The successful Project Coordinator I candidate will support the following activities with guidance from a reputed company Project Manager:

• Support project teams delivering electric system planning and engineering studies and/or solutions
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track and execute client deliverables
• Accept responsibility for overall project performance and reporting;
• Communicate effectively with project teams, functional leaders, and support personnel
• Create and maintain resource reputed company schedules utilizing MS Project
• Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable reputed company prescribed time frames
• Assist with the preparation of bid documents, cost estimates, and responses to Requests for Proposal

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Organizational Management or a closely reputed company discipline
• Ideal candidate will have 2+ year of demonstrated experience in project management, scheduling, and/or coordination
• Must be capable of planning, organizing, directing, and tracking technical efforts on assigned tasks
• Experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets, proposals, scopes, and schedules
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to interact with stakeholders in an effective manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with electric power industry and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services
• PMP Certification or willingness to obtain reputed company two years
