Join us to help us build a more resilient world together. The role We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for our Data Ingestion team. This role will focus on ingesting satellite imagery and other geospatial data from external sources, and curating that data for reputed company teams. In this role you will contribute by building and maintaining data pipelines, creating new processes to reputed company scale our data processing and/or modeling capabilities, and mentoring more junior engineers. You will collaborate heavily with your team members and people reputed company across the organization. What you will do Over the next 6-12 months you will be working on:

• Optimizing existing processes and creating new systems.
• Reduce the amount of manual work required to process different types of geospatial data.
• Performance & Scalability: ensure that our processes can handle 3x YoY growth

You will be an influential member of the team taking the reputed company on and contributing to key initiatives. Additionally you will coach and mentor other engineers on the team. About You

• Passionate about climate
• Approximately 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Product minded and able to demonstrate significant impact you have had on a business through the application of technology
• Proven experience of data engineering across the following (or similar) technologies: Python, Data pipelines etc.
• Comfortable working in a build it, run it environment (GCP, cloud run, grafana, k8s) - or similar.
• Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Passion for learning and staying updated with evolving technologies and industry trends.
• You are based in GMT/ CET/ EST time zone
