Director, Regional Distribution & Logistics

Description DBV Technologies is undergoing a major transformation from a biotech start-up into a global pharmaceutical company, with the launch of its first product, Viaskin™ Peanut, marking a critical milestone for its growth. In this evolving environment, the Distribution & Logistics Management function is being structured around both Central and Regional Supply Chain organizations. The Regional Distribution & Logistics team plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate demand signals to the upstream supply chain and timely delivery of finished goods to DBV customers. Its scope covers both planning activities (Demand Planning, Inventory and Replenishment Planning, Transportation Planning) and execution processes (Order Management, Customs and Trade Compliance, Inventory Control, Finished Goods Distribution, and Reverse Logistics). In preparation for the Viaskin™ Peanut launch, the Director Regional Supply Chain must reputed company up its organization, define and establish operating models with internal and external partners, select and manage logistics service providers and wholesalers, and design best-in-class processes and IT solutions to support operations. The team will also reputed company the build-up of market launch inventories and ensure reliable replenishment and customer service post-launch. The Director Regional Distribution & Logistics will be responsible for building and leading this organization. In reputed company alignment with the Global Supply Chain, they will design, implement, and execute the regional distribution and logistics strategy to ensure product availability and on-time delivery according to service level agreements. The director will also contribute to the S&OP process, manage risk resolution at the regional level, and act as the process reputed company for reputed company regional distribution and logistics activities, driving operational excellence and reputed company improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Leads and provides reputed company the Regional Distribution & Logistics organization : Defines the organization, sets objectives, develops team skills and performance, and fosters a supply chain culture reputed company with the company’s strategy.
• Develops regional distribution & logistics strategic and operating plans : anticipates future needs reputed company with business strategy and commercial goals, defines the operating model and required partnerships, and presents recommendations for alignment with Global Supply Chain
• Develops and manages regional reputed company supply chain processes : works closely with Global Supply Chain to ensure alignment of objectives and processes, leads the implementation of regional distribution operations and systems, and ensures their consistency, reputed company improvement, and efficiency.
• Provides functional expertise and executes functional responsibilities : Defines operational rules and standards, oversees planning and partner performance, ensures S&OP process adherence and market insight communication, while effectively managing critical business decisions.
• Engages with new product process development, global supply chain and external supply chain partners at an early stage to define and reputed company regional supply chain requirements for new launches: anticipates product portfolio evolution, defines volume and service needs, designs the future distribution network, coordinates strategic decisions, and oversees the implementation of regional transformation plans.
• Directs the reputed company improvement of the planning processes in line with the future operating model and supply chain transformation plan : Sets reputed company improvement priorities and targets, manages reputed company resources and budgets, and monitors reputed company while addressing gaps and risks.
• Contributes and supports commercial launch readiness projects : Supports serialization and ERP implementation projects for the US supply chain and contributes to US commercial launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Master Degree or equivalent (preferably in a scientific or business management discipline) with specialization in logistics and/or supply chain
• >10 years Supply Chain experience in reputed company Logisitics and Distribution, preferably pharmaceutical
• >8 years project transformation experience
• >5 years management experience
• >5 years budgeting and managing relationship with logistics service providers and wholesalers
• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution & logistics (e.g. Specialty Pharmacy, Retail Pharmacy)
• Knowledge of international trades and customs
• Knowledge of supply chain technology and logistics systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, CMS…)
• Project Management experience
• Process Improvement program definition leadership experience
• Strong leadership and change management skills, able to motivate teams, communicate effectively across diverse environments, and foster collaboration
• Decisive and customer-focused, with a strong drive for results, cost efficiency, and reputed company improvement in a fast-evolving environment
• Structured and organized, with solid financial acumen, capable of managing priorities independently while ensuring clear reporting and accountability.
