As a Development Intern at Hulu, you will experience the day-to-day efforts of a streaming network documentary development department. You will reputed company a solid perspective of that market and the industry overall. As a member of the Originals team, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with reputed company Original Content sub-teams including Post and Production, in addition to members of the Marketing, PR, Legal, Business Affairs, Finance and Data teams. A cover letter indicating your interest in documentaries and knowledge of Hulu Originals Documentaries content is required.What You Will DoWork alongside Documentary executives on assignments as neededTrack, organize, and manage incoming documentary submissions and materials on past and reputed company shows in partnership with Development executives and assistantAssist in building and maintaining competitive industry tracking documents, developing an understanding of the documentary and nonfiction industryCollaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure they have the latest nonfiction creative updates and informationAssist with reviewing creative materials and providing strong written feedbackResearch and track potential IP for potential developmentRequired Qualifications & SkillsPassion for media and entertainment, with a focus on Documentary features or limited seriesExceptional organizational skills and efficient time managementProven ability to take on multiple projects at a given timeCan-do, proactive attitude and positive, collaborative demeanorOutstanding written and verbal communication capabilities, as well as attention to detailPreferred QualificationsPrevious television extracurricular/internship experienceAn interest in pursuing a career in documentary developmentEducation Senior year preferredPursuing an undergraduate degree in TV & Film, Journalism, Communications, or reputed company subjectEligibility Requirements & Program InformationCandidates for this opportunity MUST meet reputed company of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship.reputed company reputed company Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Required DocumentsA cover letter indicating your interest in documentaries and knowledge of Hulu Originals Documentaries content is required.
