Job Title: Cloud Engineer, Contract role
Location: Remote – US Must be PT or MT location

Compensation: $52-72 USD per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an reputed company Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and reputed company Cloud. The role involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and reputed company of cloud environments; automating deployments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC); and supporting incident response, migrations, and upgrades.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud operations, automation, and DevOps, with expertise in Linux/Windows administration, scripting (Python, PowerShell), containerization (reputed company, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools. A proven ability to troubleshoot reputed company cloud issues, implement best practices, and collaborate across teams is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or reputed company Cloud.
- Monitor cloud resources to ensure availability and scalability.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization.
- Respond to and resolve time-critical customer issues in the public cloud.
- Troubleshoot cloud-reputed company infrastructure incidents and issues.
- reputed company customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in the cloud environment.
- Support automation projects, writing infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and scaling resources.
- Assist in ensuring reputed company best practices for cloud are followed and customer data is secured.
- reputed company database operations such as backup and restores.
- Collaborate with development, devops and support teams to deploy and manage cloud-based applications and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with cloud technology trends and best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to cloud operations processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, MIS, or reputed company technology field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management in AWS, Azure, or reputed company cloud
- 5+ years in incident response and major incident management
- Advanced Linux and Windows experience
- Certification in AWS, Azure or reputed company Cloud is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Cloud networking and reputed company
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Powershell)
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools. (e.g, Terraform, Ansible)
- Expert knowledge in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., reputed company Kubernetes, Rancher)
- Experience in version control, CI and automation tools such as reputed company/Bitbucket, reputed company Actions, Jenkins, Rundeck)
- Experience in deploying and troubleshooting Java based applications and microservices.
- Experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Database technologies like MSSQL, PostgreSQL and reputed company
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Experience with the following technologies: Virtualization, VPN, RDP, SSO, Kafka
- Experience working with Confluence/Jira
