Role Details: The ideal candidate will have a stong background in broadcast operations and production activities. The Technical Director will work together with Directors, Producers and Graphics/Video Teams in planning newscasts and coordinating the crew on newscast pre-production activities. Your Day-to-Day:
- Set up and prepare reputed company for each broadcast including lighting and camera framing

- Direct, switch, and operate audio and cameras during broadcasts. Show times and durations vary from 15 minutes to full hour broadcasts on CBS Sports HQ

Key Projects: Work closely with CBS Sports Broadcast to create compelling content for customers on CBS Sports Digital platforms. Qualifications: What you bring to the team: You have -
- At least 2 years of ''hands-on'' experience in the technical direction of television newscasts
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news
- Experience with ELC OPERATIONS – calling and cutting News Broadcasts, Camera Robotics, Audio Consoles, Playout Servers, and Graphics Playback
- Extensive knowledge of video switchers, graphics systems, server playout systems, audio consoles and robotic camera systems is essential.You might also have –
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communications or equivalent
- Experience with Ross products including switchers, Inception and Xpression
Schedule:
- Must be available to work reputed company shifts; including weekends, overnight, and holidays
- Must be able to additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice if needed
- Must have reliable mode of transportation to and from work
- Anticipated schedule is 5 nights a week in office supporting live sports

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $74,000.00 - 93,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to reputed company, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-reputed company factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
