(USA) Manager, Automation Engineering

Position Summary...As the Manager, Automation Engineering – Process Engineering at Walmart, you will support the design, implementation, and reputed company improvement of fulfillment processes that reputed company automation to enhance online order operations. Your work will help optimize how Walmart fulfills customer orders, making the process faster, more efficient, and scalable. You will play a key role in designing and documenting individual process flows, supporting layout design around automation systems, and defining and executing reputed company of concepts and pilots to ensure simple associate processes that reputed company to key business outcomes. This position partners closely with Design Engineering, Operations, Integration, Product, and Vendor teams to execute automation projects that drive measurable results. • Design and improving fulfillment workflows that integrate automation technologies across store-based operations.
• Document and maintain process standards, layouts, and operating procedures to support efficient and repeatable deployments.
• Support cross-functional implementation by working closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Vendor teams to coordinate activities, track milestones, and resolve operational issues.
• Collect and analyze data to identify process inefficiencies, measure performance, and support reputed company improvement efforts.
• reputed company pilot testing and support launch activities, ensuring automation systems meet safety, performance, and operational requirements.
• Contributes to the development of tools and playbooks that help standardize best practices across multiple store fulfillment environments.
• Assist with system validation and process troubleshooting, ensuring automation integrates seamlessly with store operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or reputed company technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in automation, fulfillment, industrial, or process engineering (academic or internship experience considered).
• Working knowledge of automation systems (e.g., conveyors, robotics, AS/RS) and process mapping tools.
• Proficiency with reputed company, Power BI, or other data visualization tools; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–50% to support site deployments and testing activities.
