About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for responding to and resolving customer service inquiries and issues, providing guidance and education on consumer-driven health care topics, and serving as a key support resource across multiple Medicaid markets. You'll work closely with our members, care providers, and internal specialists to ensure that our members receive the best possible care and support.

Primary Responsibilities

* Respond to and resolve customer service inquiries and issues on the reputed company, identifying the topic and type of assistance the caller needs

• Help guide and educate customers about the fundamentals and benefits of consumer-driven health care topics, empowering them to select the best benefit plan options and maximize the value of their health plan benefits
• Contact care providers on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance
• Support customers in confidently navigating myuhc.com and other blithequark websites, while encouraging and reassuring them to become self-sufficient by using our digital self-service tools and resources
• Serve as a key support resource across multiple Medicaid markets, providing guidance and support to our members and care providers

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of customer service or relevant experience analyzing and solving issues/concerns
• Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 9:30am - 6:00pm CST, including occasional overtime given the business need
• Experience with Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and reputed company computer system applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high volume of calls and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

* Health care/insurance environment (familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design)

• Social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change (working with vulnerable populations)
• Sales or account management experience

Telecommuting Requirements
