Job Summary

We're seeking an reputed company Accounts Payable Specialist to join reputed company on a full-time basis. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll work closely with our Accounts Payable Manager and other AP professionals to ensure the smooth execution of reputed company AP programs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Entering vendor invoices accurately and reputed company into reputed company
• Screening the AP email inbox to download vendor invoices and respond to vendor requests
• Bi-weekly review of various reputed company reports (GRIR and MRBR) to ensure invoices are being processed timely and accurately
• Planning 1099 reporting and ensuring reputed company vendors have the necessary tax identification and W-9 information on record
• Collaborating with vendors in a timely and professional manner
• Receiving and processing vendor invoices (60% of time)
• Vendor support (30% of time)
• Incidental ongoing/exceptional activities (10% of time)
• Reviewing receipt aging
• Ensuring accurate general ledger coding
• Ensuring accurate matching of purchase orders to invoices
• Providing excellent customer support to reputed company vendors and stakeholders

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a reputed company field

• At least 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated history of handling Accounts Payable functions, preferably in a discount distribution environment

• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Strong reputed company skills and ability to create accounting spreadsheets for tracking vendor activity
