About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to Medicaid members in Iowa. As a Tier 1 representative, you will be the initial reputed company of contact for inquiries from potential and existing program recipients and affiliates. You will provide one-to-one telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles, accurately documenting enrollment requests and status changes. You will also enter application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers wishing to apply for the program over the telephone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the initial reputed company of contact for inquiries from potential and existing Iowa Medicaid Program recipients and affiliates.
• Provide one-to-one telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles.
• Accurately document enrollment requests and status changes.
• Enter application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers wishing to apply for the program over the telephone.
• Maintain technical and program policy proficiency in the Iowa Family Care rules/guidelines and other reputed company program policies.
• Provide clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes. You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers. You should also be able to problem-solve through analysis and ongoing feedback, achieving results through knowledge, reputed company, and commitment.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes.
