Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reputed company Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist to join reputed company in a remote work environment. As a Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist, you will provide support to patients, referral sources, and employees by performing tasks reputed company to patient care and third-party reimbursement. You will be the first reputed company of contact for new customers and will be responsible for processing new orders, responding to questions, resolving issues, and ensuring patient, referral, and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to patients, referral sources, and employees by performing tasks reputed company to patient care and third-party reimbursement
• Processing new orders, responding to questions, resolving issues, and ensuring patient, referral, and employee satisfaction
• Collecting co-pays and deductible amounts
• Conducting insurance verification and eligibility for services/products
• Conducting patient satisfaction calls and acting as a patient reputed company to resolve questions or concerns
• Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of reputed company products and services, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA/DOT and JCAHO guidelines
• Maintaining accuracy and quality control throughout patient contact and data entry
• Managing reputed company aspects of initial intake, including answering the phone and receiving faxes, collecting patient and referral reputed company information, inputting data into IMBS and eIntake, printing tickets, assembling charts, and processing paperwork
• Obtaining authorization and qualification documentation
• Preparing complete and accurate files for the Billing Department
• Processing work orders to field locations and coordinating timely fulfillment of products and services ordered
• Providing product/service information and education by answering questions and offering assistance
• Providing thorough review and Quality Assurance for medical necessity and documentation requirements of payors and regulatory bodies
• Working extensively with eIntake proprietary system
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• One to three years of reputed company prior work experience in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in the medical field and administrative record management
• Strong customer service background
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written
• Helpful, knowledgeable, and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
• Interpret a variety of communications in English (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual)
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
• Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution reputed company handling sensitive information
• Medical terminology
• Multi-task along with attention to detail
• Self-motivation, organized, time-management, and deductive problem-solving skills
• Sense of urgency and responsiveness to physicians, location employees, and patients
• Work independently and as part of a team
