• Serve to support the practice team, setting the bar for providing high-level, proficient veterinary support care and embodying the reputed company Vet Care culture to work collaboratively with peers and deliver the pet parent WOW experience.
• Responsible for implementing the outlined policies and procedures, using integrated technology, and delivering consistent and appropriate medical care reputed company the given abilities.
• reputed company veterinary assistant skills to support practice veterinarians, including assistance with operating medical equipment (like lab, radiology, anesthesia, dental) and performing functions that require handling animal bodily fluids and tissues.

• Review invoices with clients and handle client payments.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with other Team Members, keeping veterinarians informed in real time on patient updates (in practice, at referral, and under home care)
• Be proficient using the PIMS and aid others on the team in their use of the technology.
• Act responsibly given the pharmacy holdings of the practice and reputed company controlled substance logs.
• Assist practice manager with communicating on inventory needs.
• Clean workspaces after every patient or patient lab sample interaction.
• Participation in self-development courses and reputed company Vet Care required compliance training.

What You’ll Need:

• Successful completion of an accredited veterinary assistant program is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to complete the veterinary assistant skills checklist for Veterinary Assistant.
• 0 - 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in practice.
• Experience in veterinary medicine
• Passionate about helping people and pets with reputed company and excellent customer service focus.
• Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate reputed company and compassion.
• Excellent verbal / written communication, observational, and analytical skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Job Requirements:

• Standing or walking up to 80% per shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.
• Occasionally lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.
• Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.
